Description

RSN support young people affected by displacement and crisis to access and progress in education. In the UK, we run educational mentoring schemes in North and South London, offer drop in and appointment-based education advice and support and social activities for young refugees, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking. These programmes work predominantly with separated children and young people, who are in the UK without a responsible adult. RSN also run a higher education programme, helping young refugees, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking who have the academic potential to go to university and a programme for with refugee and asylum seeking women in Harlsden, which offers informal ESOL, advice and activities. Additionally, from Nov 2012, the 'Youth on the Move' project will be working on developing ways of supporting young people who are returned to their countries of origin. See website for further information on all services.
