Aid Box Community (ABC) is a Bristol-based humanitarian organization set up in response to the refugee crisis. They support asylum seekers and refugees with a free shop and welcome hub, activity groups, signposting advice, a crisis fund, and a befriending service. Their free shop is open Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 3:30pm, where people can choose quality items donated by the public, including clothing, toiletries, toys, and household items. The organization also runs activity groups that provide spaces for sharing skills, learning, and building community, as well as a 10-week befriending program connecting local volunteers with people settling in Bristol. ABC is registered as a charity (number 1172697) and operates with values of welcoming all displaced people regardless of faith, race, ethnicity, culture, age, disability, gender, and sexuality.
