Description
CFAB aims to protect children who have been separated from families. Services include working with local authorities and NGOs to support asylum seeking children, advising social worker on options open to asylum seeking young people and 'emphasize the importance of discussing the potential issue of having to return home.' Can undertake risk assessment to advise on the safe return of children, signpost available voluntary returns schemes and advise on the situation and services in country of origin and assist in locating family members help find support service and opportunitites available should they return. National advice line open Mon-Fri 10am - 4pm
